I want to begin my term as your WSSP President wishing you all a very Happy New Year.
There have been some interesting changes with the WSSP and I look forward to sharing them with you. However, some things will remain the same. Namely, you will still be offered wonderful educational opportunities and times to get together with your colleagues during our meetings and presentations!
One exciting new change to take place will be our WSSP website: www.waperio.org. Yes, WSSP is going green and we’re proud of that. Our website will feature a “bulletin board” for professional discussions, or to find a periodontist with the membership directory. The bulletin board will feature an events calendar and links to other important websites and information. It will also contain an employment section for periodontists post positions available and for hygeniests to look for job opportunities.
We are also introducing new dues-paying options for you. Please use the handy cut out area below to provide information for us (your email is especially important as we move toward online information!) and to send in your dues payment. I hope you will take advantage of the dues and meeting combined option payment. It will save you $40 and will eliminate the hassle of dealing with individual meeting payments. Of course, if you prefer to pay for your yearly dues and meetings separately, that is fine.
